Just saw it and had to vent on behalf of Neil. Don’t suffocate your children with “opportunities [you] never had” and guilt them into lives they weren’t meant to live. Don’t take their voice. I know what its like. To be so scared to ask, to say what I want, to say anything at all, never being able to say how I feel or utter a vowel lest I be reprimanded for talking back. Some people may not understand why Neil couldn’t just say what he needed to his dad, why he was so trapped, and why he committed suicide. But I get it all, Neil. RIP.
